Nice cartoon.Hopefully the ISPs would sort out the blocking issue by blocking the listed blog sites only(though one wonders why even these sites needs to be banned) and not the entire domains.Reminds me of a sys-admin in my first company who had put a block on the keyword "hot" rendering hotmail to be inaccessable.
@bishu: As you can see, I can access the sites anytime, so the ban is ineffective. Whether it is needed is another question that could be asked.
@shreemoyee: The ISPs could not block select sites according to the government order, and so ended up blocking everything. Hanuman did that once ... not recognizing the medicinal plants, he picked up a mountain from the Himalayas and carried it to Lanka. The sites were still blocked by Airtel when I last looked, that is around 9:00 am IST this morning. I can access anything from my office of course, and so I can't say if they are still blocked or not.

ReplyDeleteAre the sites still blocked? I tjought it was a mistake on the part of the ISPs and not the govt's fault in any way.
